TUESDAYS - Beginning APRIL 2ND

One In a Million | Study by Pricilla Shirer
The Egyptians in Exodus 1 were intent on enslaving the Israelites, wearing them down so that God’s chosen people would become disillusioned and not live up to their destiny. Of the original two million Israelites who received God’s invitation to enter the Promised Land, only two actually entered it!

Similarly, modern day Christians often hear and understand the promises of God each Sunday morning at church but then rarely choose to experience them in everyday life. In One in a Million, Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer invites us to change that pattern for good, living beyond our circumstances and expecting to see God move in miraculous ways day after day. Without a doubt, we can find and follow God’s purpose for our journey. We can make it to the Promised Land!

TUESDAYS - Beginning APRIL 9TH

Barbara and Susan's Guide to Empty Nest
As our children get older, men and women see these changes very differently. Men see it as an "about time event", excited to have their house, time, money, and wife back to themselves. Women go through uncertainty about what is next for them. For years we have put our children’s needs first, putting aside our own thoughts, feelings, and time to take care of them. However our children’s crossover to adulthood is difficult for us. On one hand we are excited to have them launched into society, and we agree with our husbands on getting our house and time alone with our husbands back (2nd honeymoon). However our relationship with our children changes so much, we struggle to figure out how to navigate through this new season of life. I would compare it to grieving a loss, and you feel silly feeling this way and have trouble snapping out of it, but you can’t.

As I talk to women in the same season, asking how they are doing and sharing my own struggle, I realize that I am not alone. It’s funny how when your kids are young there are parent groups, books, classes, and connections to help you through that season. Everyone is eager to tell you how parenting is or isn’t, give you advice and share what’s worked for them. Going through this season of life, no one talks about it, mostly because I think women don’t realize what an impact it has on them, or figure they are the only ones going through it, and don’t know how to grow through it. Even the women who have gone through it, don’t share their experience, and some are still struggling. (This also ties into adult children living in your household and those struggles.) Our group will bring women in this season of life together, share struggles, find support and learn how to grow through it.

WEDNESDAYS - Beginning APRIL 10TH

It's Not Suppose To Be This Way | Study by Lisa TerKeurst
Life often looks so very far from the reality we long for. Lysa TerKeurst deeply understands. But she's also discovered that whether we're dealing with daily disappointments or life-altering loss, we can find unexpected strength as we wrestle well between our faith and feelings.

The Full Armor of God
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

Thursdays - Beginning APRIL 11TH

All Things New | Study by Kelly Minter
The city of ancient Corinth was much like our own modern-day cities: a melting pot of electrifying cultural experiences to be had, along with the myriad pitfalls of spiritual depravity. Still, Paul wrote to the Church of God in Corinth - meaning God's Church is meant to thrive in any city and every circumstance in which we find ourselves. Paul's letter is as timely as ever.

Together we will explore the truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.
Hope you will join us in this study!
