ABOUT TRIBES

The world has become smaller as we have more connections than ever before. Technology is incredible. It has allowed us to do things that would have seemed impossible 30 years ago. However, with the rise of social media, we have never been so lonely and isolated.

More than ever before, we need authentic community. We need lasting relationships. We need good friends to do “life” with. We need people who will share in our struggles and in our joy. More than ever before we need a TRIBE.

In this six-week series, we will explore what it means to belong to a tribe - to be part of the Body of Christ. We will look at our divine desire to belong and the beliefs we share as followers of Jesus. We will discuss the behaviors that Jesus modeled and what it means to be filled with God's Spirit. Lastly, we will talk about the commission to introduce others to Jesus and bring them into a tribe.

JOINING A TRIBE

This dynamic video curriculum has been carefully crafted by the leaders at Red Hills Church. These video sessions combine a teaching element from Pastor Aaron Hanson with discussion starters for you and your tribe. Each Tribe will have up to 12 people that meet in an environment catered for connection and discussion.

Tribes meet once per week for six weeks and the resource books are completely free. Many Tuesday small groups are offered to help families with children take advantage of Tribes for KIDS (see below).

TRIBES FOR KIDS & YOUTH

Yes! Students will be discovering the same powerful principles of belonging alongside our adults. You can register children birth through 11-years-old for Tribes KIDS on Tuesdays at 6:00pm at Red Hills Church Main Campus. Kids learn, have fun and receive excellent care as you go to one of the many Tuesday small groups offered, then you can pick them up when your small group has finished for the evening.

Middle School & High School students will meet at the usual youth group time and will discuss topics in a way that has been customized for their age groups.
