WORSHIP TEAM MISSION

Red Hills Worship is a community of musicians and production techs who use their calling and talents to create an environment of corporate worship in order to glorify God, inspire people towards transformational relationship with Jesus, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel.

Thanks for expressing your interest to be involved on the worship team at Red Hills Church!

Corporate worship is encouraged to strengthen the body of believers, as well as further the declaration of the Gospel. Coming together to worship as a Body should serve as an environment to build each other up in the faith, encourage one another, pray together, offer accountability and spiritual growth, be transformed and renewed together, and provide a safe place for healing and restoration. Corporate worship should be the overflow of worship of each individual – the capstone from a week of individual praise by all believers, now coming together to express worship corporately, before entering another week of personal outpouring and praise.

Worship is intended for full participation from every believer; however, not all possess the specific skillsets – music or tech – necessary to lead others without causing distraction which is why Red Hills Worship has an audition and onboarding process to gauge ability in order to determine whether an individual is the right fit for this Dream Team. Therefore, joining the worship team is a four-step process:

  • STEP 1 is to fill out the Interest Form below and attend our Next Steps Class. Everyone who serves at Red Hills Church is expected to attend a Next Steps Class. A leader will connect with you to complete this step at a future time.

  • STEP 2 is to audition by either submitting a video audition via the Google Drive folder or scheduling an in-person audition. Instructions and resources for auditioning are available in the folder.

  • STEP 3 is development. Development may take various forms, depending on background, skill, experience, and comfortability level. Some people may be in Step 3 longer than others, depending on how much development is needed.

  • STEP 4 is joining the Worship Team on Sunday mornings and attending our Worship and Tech Team Hangouts!
